History Highlight

Making History

Did you know that Republicans have a record breaking number of women in the 117th Congress? Many of these women have already shattered glass ceilings in their home cities/states and are bringing that strength to Washington. While you won’t likely see these women celebrated by mainstream media, their accomplishments and successes should be celebrated by Republican women’s groups far and wide!

These women have many “firsts” to celebrate. Firsts which include: Being the youngest woman to be elected into congress at the time of her win, the first Native American woman, the first Iranian American woman, the first woman to represent her state in the senate and the first woman to head her state’s Republican Party.

This historic group of women leaders are making waves and breaking barriers. They have important work to do, not only for the people in their home states, but for women everywhere who are looking to them for inspiration.

From GRW Executive Board

The GRW board is looking for some volunteers to help with some committees! The board has some really great ideas for what we’d like to accomplish this year and just need some help getting everything executed. Please send us an email if you’re interested in any of the following groups.
